Well not long to go now, only 10 days, it makes you wonder where the year has gone. I was really pleased to hear that one of my cards has been featured on Little Claires Blog, made using one of their Christmas stamps, "Mr Darcys Christmas Post". I'm going to upload it here so you can see it, I love Little Claire products and am a member of their club so I get a lovely stamp and project kit every month, something to look forward to !

Summer already !
Here we are, July 2nd, and it's been a while since I was here (again !). I am going to try harder and keep this blog of mine updated ! Since I was last here we have acquired two young kitties, a grey and white male who we called Chile, as we got him when they were rescuing the Chilean miners, and a midnight tortie who we called PepC (a play on words a bit there !). They are good friends and lovely, coming up to 10 months old now. Sadly, very sadly, we lost our last two elderly cats, Chloe and Billy, both 18, who died in February and June 2011 respectively...still getting over the loss of Billy who was a very special cat...you can see their pics on the right hand side of this blog. I will add a pic or two of the youngsters soon :o) I have managed to alter the background of this blog, and deleted a few old bits and pieces, in the hope that I will be able to add some new things, I have been trying to get into stamping more, and have bought some distress inks which I hope to play with soon. I have lots of ideas and good intentions but actually getting to put them into practice is another matter. I think if I stayed up all night I would get more done than I do during the day..don't know exactly why that is, but I seem to function much better at night ! Anyway, I have decided to have a stall in our village fete on July 8th, so must get cracking...I'm beginning to wonder if I have made the right decision....

A New Year
Well, I can't believe how much time has gone by since I last posted on this blog of mine. Just a quickie this time, 2010 was one of those years, my husband suffered a heart attack in April, and since then has had a few health blips, funnily enough, unrelated to his heart, it's almost as if the attack and medication has triggered a whole host of other things ! We still have three hospital appointments to attend, one of them being mine, but that's another story ! I will have a go at improving this blog as I feel I need to do something to fill my time a little, somewhere I can escape to, so watch this space. Like many others we had our fair share of snow, and we got two kittens in October, so I will put some new pics up as well. Maybe even a few new cards may appear, you never know your luck !

Where does the time go ?
Isn't it strange how the time passes, I knew I hadn't tended my blog for a while, but didn't realise just how much time had elapsed since I last visited...quite frightening really ! We are now into a new year, and I am sitting here in the early hours, with a definite touch of the lurgey hanging about me....I should be tucked up in bed all nice and warm, but dont feel tired, and hate just laying there with my mind whirring away. I feel I have let the world of blogging down somewhat and will try to make a few more appearances on here from now on..until then I will try and find a couple of snowy pics of our view from our garden and field taken over the last few weeks..our snow has gone again now, but it keeps coming back, like a bad penny !!

Another award :o)
Well, what a lovely surprise to find I have been given an award by Ei, (Eiglas)....you must check out Ei's blog as her work is an inspiration :o) Thank you very much Ei, I appreciate it, and will pass it on to seven other bloggers shortly..it's almost time to feed everyone again ...i.e. husband and pusscats, oh and then me :o) So, I will check back later and have a go...it's amazing how time flies when I'm on here ! I haven't posted the award on here yet, but will do later, plus the requirements that go with it :o)
Hot, humid days and awards !
Phew ! It's so humid here today I don't know what to do with myself...I have been learning how to upload and resize all my own pics of my cards and any photos, so I can do it as and when, without asking for help (that's my independent streak shining through !), so I will add some pics of my cats in a minute, plus one or two cards I have made. The lady who owns the cattery we take our cats to has said I can leave a few of my cards there, and she has asked for cat and teddy designs, so I have made a few up for her..I haven't taken many pics of the teddy ones as yet, but will add them as I go along. I have also been taking a few pics in the garden, we have had so many lovely butterflies this year, so I will put them up on here too, once I've tweeked them :o)
Also, I have had three awards on my Blog for a while now and would like to pass them on to five friends, who each have great Blogs..I take my hat off to you all, you seem to get so much done, while I feel like I'm just plodding along...I don't know how you all do it, but keep up the good work ! Now, I don't know if I'm doing this right, but I am going to say just pick whichever award you fancy, but before I do, here are five things I like to do:
1) Take my time in the morning, as I am most definitely a night owl !!
2) Watch a good film with a bag of Giant choccy buttons by my side :o)
3) Sit in the garden watching all the lovely birds
4) Visit a large craft shop and spend, spend, spend :o)
5) Take one day at a time
I would like to pass the awards on to Rose, Eileen, Lyn, Cheryl and Sandra - enjoy girlies, and thanks for all your support and friendship :o)
