Our sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy. The prize will be 3 digis from the store.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I have chosen the Halloween Cat image. I coloured in with Whisper markers, stippled a pale background in Faded jeans Distress Ink, drew a moon circle and added a few bats and crooked trees using Visible Image stamps and Stazon jet Black ink. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, as are the cobwebs. I cut up a sentiment banner from their Sentiments book as it was too big to stick on in one piece. The little wooden pumpkins are something I bought a year or so ago in a local shop. The background paper is from my stash as is the polka dot ribbon. I also added the spider dangling from the hat !<br />

I've been unwell for almost 3 weeks with a nasty cold/virus, so July seems to have flown by. I'm on the mend, but these bugs certainly take their time to go. <br />
<br />
This month our sponsor is Mina & Moo Designs, and the prize is 2 items from the shop.<br />
<br />
I chose to use one of the coloured woodgrain papers and the owls digital clipart. Here's what I came up with....<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhrgXv01Wemr4MnvPZVdJCGH5sDnejr7ayFWpK4Wi8PUEk14oSoFgmg8bZWC-Cd-GvOY8UNRzCyXvFMMBtMYi-qeDPqbDYqUka5Zjzldl4w_SRj6iYX7JXE0aBdNyQu39UAN6nYI6dIXmR/s1600/Mina+and+Moo+-+SOC+-+August+2016.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhrgXv01Wemr4MnvPZVdJCGH5sDnejr7ayFWpK4Wi8PUEk14oSoFgmg8bZWC-Cd-GvOY8UNRzCyXvFMMBtMYi-qeDPqbDYqUka5Zjzldl4w_SRj6iYX7JXE0aBdNyQu39UAN6nYI6dIXmR/s320/Mina+and+Moo+-+SOC+-+August+2016.jpg" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I covered a DL card with the woodgrain paper, and cut out 4 of the owl designs. I added a couple of strings of bunting with gems, then thought it would be fun to have a "totem pole" of owls, with a couple of the "Hoot Hoot" sentiments that come with them. I added some Cosmic Shimmer glitters to their chests, and also googly eyes to bring them to life and give a bit of movement, and a bit more fun too...nothing like eyes following you around the room ! A plain black birthday sentiment finished off the card.</div>

<br />

<br />
<br />
I chose to use "The Birdhouse" and here's what I came up with, using a DL card for a change as I think they're under-rated ! I coloured the image with Whisper pens, distressed around the edge of the topper with Forest Moss distress ink and used some Woodland theme paper from my stash as I like the owls hooting away. I thought I'd install one of the owls inside the house as it looked a bit vacant on it's own ! I also added a few punched out leaves, ferns and flowers. The tag is from the Craftwork Cards Sentiments pad, and I coloured it with a Whisper pen and added a yellow bow. Hope you like it.<br />

I made a selection of cards for men using the Gentleman's Journey book, just sticking them onto A6 kraft card blanks, trimming to size and stamping a Happy Birthday greeting inside. Here's a picture of the first batch...<br />

It's never easy, but I persevered, using a mixture of Craftwork Cards and Hunkydory stash. Here are a few of them....<br />
<br />
Using a pre-cut card and accessories from "Man Made"...the card has been coloured with distress ink...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSpL14rtqk-SogNLaEeoweFUKs0Epnh-Ma97L-r3DMgROdRNGlRSzWXgv0W2-R9PE7XmwLwQdYSTEpiyg54Jj30cTSiwBHJTCqEoRBLc1Uq_TToXYL0IsuHL4raUU_ED1hUyEp3nsArTdR/s1600/P1080447.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSpL14rtqk-SogNLaEeoweFUKs0Epnh-Ma97L-r3DMgROdRNGlRSzWXgv0W2-R9PE7XmwLwQdYSTEpiyg54Jj30cTSiwBHJTCqEoRBLc1Uq_TToXYL0IsuHL4raUU_ED1hUyEp3nsArTdR/s320/P1080447.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Card blank (+ distress ink) and sentiment tab from "Man Made", topper from a Hunkydory little book and little fish cut from a Joy die...</div>

<br />
It's the start of another challenge and this time our sponsor is Cre8tive Hands.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8DGC0ePjAv6UMjOgWhv94l4txzUFNSMaHoLD_kHsgOsezxyV6JfAEfLPieSkVF7BAgD2A4-aeAVlULndhC9LlKLVI5ri4D_OOy60nbamCS2GNqr88klmImodNw_WSbxOrWVpxojGZW-zi/s1600/Cre8tiveHands.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8DGC0ePjAv6UMjOgWhv94l4txzUFNSMaHoLD_kHsgOsezxyV6JfAEfLPieSkVF7BAgD2A4-aeAVlULndhC9LlKLVI5ri4D_OOy60nbamCS2GNqr88klmImodNw_WSbxOrWVpxojGZW-zi/s1600/Cre8tiveHands.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Unfortunately Michelle from Cre8tive Hands is no longer running her Etsy business, (you can still obtain free images from her blog though), therefore the winner of this month's challenge will win a mystery gift arranged by the DT !<br />
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
I chose to use the Hot Chocolate digi, and kept things simple by adding the picture to a pre-embossed card. I coloured the hearts and centre frame with my pink Whisper pen, and the image with the pink Whisper pen together with a Cool Grey 1 promarker. Sometimes less is more eh !<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizzg6nOEguu_Q83PnvincchOipK_IYS9gWnkRjQxpBT0Kxv_19kLpkiZpKGcTyvpB7rXZQ8ituz2Sf3tR4sDBmyFEUX3wpVK6TIXVi7LyzMoh8i5hvkkuDF97Qcbc8f-ykdTjUg-tUPZFK/s1600/decoupage+delights.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="186" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizzg6nOEguu_Q83PnvincchOipK_IYS9gWnkRjQxpBT0Kxv_19kLpkiZpKGcTyvpB7rXZQ8ituz2Sf3tR4sDBmyFEUX3wpVK6TIXVi7LyzMoh8i5hvkkuDF97Qcbc8f-ykdTjUg-tUPZFK/s320/decoupage+delights.png" width="320" /></a></div>
The prize is one download of the winner's choice.<br />
<br />
I chose to use the "Cats and Roses" design, but I was spoilt for choice as there are so many designs in the Floral Fantasy collection. I printed the image and mounted it onto an A5 card with a deckle edge. I then cut out part of the rose and the circle containing part of the cats and layered them up on the main image. I have to add that I didn't use all the parts of the rose provided as I didn't want lots of layers, but this means I have enough to create another card using perhaps just a single picture of a rose. <br />
<br />
I used glossy accents to create the look of dew on the rose and added some glamour dust generally as well. I also used Nuvo Copper Penny pearl drops in the corners.<br />
<br />

The little bird embellishment has been painted with the pumpkin paint and finished off with a promarker. I also added some gems across the front.<br />

I coloured the image with Whisper pens and added some glamour dust, then a selection of Craftwork Cards candi which I covered in glossy accents.<br />

I told her she was highly honoured as it's the first time I've cut into this collection !!<br />

I coloured the insides of the chicks' and rabbits' arms with promarkers so that when they folded over they weren't stark white, then I added some matching gingham ribbon and bows, orange and yellow for the chicks, and red and pink for the rabbits. I attached Cadbury's chocolate mini eggs in a little bag tied with twine to the chicks, (with the help of a stripey paperclip), and Bassett's Jelly Bunnies to the rabbits (3 sweets per bag on each). They were fun to make !<br />

Hopefully he is on the right side of things now, and I have to say that doing some colouring in the evenings did stop me from stressing out too much. They are all from the My Thyme Book No. 1 (I haven't started on the other books yet !), and I used a combination of Sakura jelly roll pens, (sparkle, metallic and glaze), plus watercolour pencils too. The owl is my favourite !<br />

I sell a few of my cards and thought these might be handy for little easter egg gift boxes. They were easy to construct and I still have another set to make, so they were good vfm. I threaded either ribbon or bakers twine through the top and added the little tags provided.<br />

I distressed around the edge with Squeezed Lemonade ink, then used some of my little tapestry flower and leaf stamps, also using distress ink, Faded Jeans and Forest Moss. I used my corner punch to round off the edges of the topper just to give it a softer look. I added some glamour dust just for a subtle bit of glitter and then I used a rabbit punch on the insert, with a strip of gold mirri card behind where I had punched the rabbits, and I put three little dots of ink between each one to try and give a bit of momentum to them !<br />

I am so glad I bought the Book of Sentiments from them as it has come in very handy ! The other card is made using a Hunkydory design, again with a Craftwork Cards banner.</div>

<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6k1Ocg6Eua4JrGRGJ8pZS_KvOhykh4B3Z1mjiwGAtcNk6qi9OfXbMzLjqDtUmTIgOKhIS6Ug3n_-5_9QyFJhCXBNOt0f-x4wJss2TCu40zPWiGXaMEzPg6mmOkAYH34IQAjsIxaTyNgJm/s1600/Moonflower+logo+2+-+SOC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6k1Ocg6Eua4JrGRGJ8pZS_KvOhykh4B3Z1mjiwGAtcNk6qi9OfXbMzLjqDtUmTIgOKhIS6Ug3n_-5_9QyFJhCXBNOt0f-x4wJss2TCu40zPWiGXaMEzPg6mmOkAYH34IQAjsIxaTyNgJm/s1600/Moonflower+logo+2+-+SOC.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I chose to use the "Gypsy Flower" image...<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD_YJWGUDhNsSlZXyDBPlwY7yFMV5eVbRPOeb7TDoNF3b2xnZkN4k40yJH8tncZDQxOnejR2xcRZ9olActs7G0E98tPQJWqyOHzQLWYDdEHl1d_PoUkUbA8NA75-swy4ece-J9FhLr8E01/s1600/Moonflower+-SOC+-+April+16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD_YJWGUDhNsSlZXyDBPlwY7yFMV5eVbRPOeb7TDoNF3b2xnZkN4k40yJH8tncZDQxOnejR2xcRZ9olActs7G0E98tPQJWqyOHzQLWYDdEHl1d_PoUkUbA8NA75-swy4ece-J9FhLr8E01/s320/Moonflower+-SOC+-+April+16.jpg" width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Instead of colouring everything, I decided to use some adhesive fabric to create a "proper" dress for her, and cut small patterns so I could get the sizes correct to fit the image. I then added some vintage lace trim, with some resin and paper roses in her hair. I used promarkers to colour the remaining areas, and the backing paper is from a First Edition Pad. The word stamps are from Craftwork Cards. I was quite pleased with the outcome (even though I say so myself !) and hope you like her as well.<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
Here's what I came up with, using two of the digi designs.<br />
<br />
I used "Gabbie - Orchard Faery"....the base card is Hunkydory. I coloured the image with watercolour pencils and added a little glamour dust to the flowers. I mounted the image on top of a Hobby House die cut scalloped circle, added some sticky ribbon and a Craftwork Cards circular sentiment coloured with a distress ink. I then cut some apples, a butterfly and a ladybird from some designs and added them, The flowers in the forefront are from Wild Orchid Crafts.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWCu-lMn3SE5KHJJEfjy_EO1T7yZ6IuiURCFkJa-nTPzjQ5OrtnPueW4J74roAKnQsF7bWHwHC_0cS3mNXO3MQcLMSxiZ_1rcoF0OHVdNC_9UzIs4vvXEAsrf5AulSBj2r7Nmo0yV63ufA/s1600/SOCFaeryInkOrchardFairy+-March+16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="232" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWCu-lMn3SE5KHJJEfjy_EO1T7yZ6IuiURCFkJa-nTPzjQ5OrtnPueW4J74roAKnQsF7bWHwHC_0cS3mNXO3MQcLMSxiZ_1rcoF0OHVdNC_9UzIs4vvXEAsrf5AulSBj2r7Nmo0yV63ufA/s320/SOCFaeryInkOrchardFairy+-March+16.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And "Mama, Owl Love You 4 Ever"....the base card is Hunkydory. I coloured the image with promarkers and Phill Martin's Frosted Mink twinkles glitter, plus a little red stickles glitter on the large heart and smaller hearts. I used a stencil for the background with Worn Lipstick and Weathered Wood distress inks stippled through, and added a few star gems and a Craftwork Cards sentiment banner coloured with the Worn Lipstick ink. I mounted the image onto kraft card and rounded the edges with a corner punch. I then added a strip of owl ribbon.<br />

<br />
He was quite impressed ! See what you think of it....I'm also adding a picture of the flowers he sent me. The lillies were gorgeous when they flowered, and the largest I've seen I think.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Another month, another new challenge ! This time our sponsor is LUNA GIRL on Etsy.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid59Xw0P1ahNjCQIvGt5ZkwIjVZvkxt86dt5HP1RbAeyQ2KAhSLSQYq1bCZjU9clLkgVCdroxbsMTm_visLuhCRyAooorgu7pK5X9me5wUGXozLrHRXKv5wQiQ5XfDANHOc0wWKPJhVp2P/s1600/Luna+Girl+logo+-+SOC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="199" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid59Xw0P1ahNjCQIvGt5ZkwIjVZvkxt86dt5HP1RbAeyQ2KAhSLSQYq1bCZjU9clLkgVCdroxbsMTm_visLuhCRyAooorgu7pK5X9me5wUGXozLrHRXKv5wQiQ5XfDANHOc0wWKPJhVp2P/s320/Luna+Girl+logo+-+SOC.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I chose the Birds design sheet and came up with this card.<br />
I used a Kraft card A4 sheet, scored and folded at not quite A4 with an edge showing down the right hand side as you look at it. <br />
I used First Edition New Leaf papers, some hessian, a Craftwork Cards sentiment, coloured with Ivory promarker to blend in, a doily and some Tattered Lace leaf dies, cut out in green and copper papers. I was going to put the hessian straight across the card, but when I laid it down it took on a curved shape which I quite liked, so I left it that way !<br />
Rather than mat the images onto card I edged them with a Cocoa promarker and added some small gems, plus some Stardust stickles, which I also added to some of the leaves on the background paper.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Normally I use an insert inside my cards, but recently have been trying different things. This time, as I had added some of the paper to the edge of the card I thought another doily and image would look good. I edged the image with a Plum promarker this time, to match the colouring on the birds, added some Stardust stickles again, and edged along the edge of the paper with Cosmic Shimmer twinkles, in Phill Martin's Frosted Mink colour.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Happy New Year one and all ! Above is my effort using Digital Scrapworld's "Safari" kit. They are the sponsors this month for our monthly challenge. I am not a digital crafter, but have to say that all the elements in this kit (and there are a lot of them to choose from !), made it a very enjoyable experience, lots of fun chopping and changing things around, and very therapeutic too ! It's been a bit hectic here since mid December when my husband suffered his second heart attack, this one more serious than the last which was five and a half years ago. He's doing ok, but has to go back into hospital in February for another procedure. He can't drive for another week so I've been on the go a fair bit and so it was good for me to sit and focus on this project. I had a bit of a struggle getting to grips with saving my finished work, but that was all down to user error, ie ME !! My husband helped me out as he's a bit of a whizz on computer related stuff ! (thankfully !). Anyway, I hope you like my little Safari page, please look at our blog to see the other DT members' creations and do join in with the challenge, there are always good prizes to be won !</div>

Hard to believe, and it's so mild out too, not like the Decembers from years gone by....yet !<br />
<br />
This time our Challenge is sponsored by Nikki Burnette<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong>The prize is 3 stamps from her store.</strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I chose to use her image entitled "Riley". I used a gaming theme and found some playing cards in a Hunkydory kit....I knew I had them but when I found them they were too big, so I cut the small ones from the inspiration sheet that came with the kit, they were just the right size !</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I covered her jacket, hat-band and cat's hat with glitter left over from a previous card, a mixture of green, gold and purple, then I used my distress ink markers to colour her hat, hair, belt etc., and her cat. Her skin is coloured with an Ivory Promarker. I used double sided tape covered with glitter as a sort of "sunburst" background, with a Tattered Lace pocket watch diecut and Tattered Lace corner flourish diecuts from gold mirri card. I added a couple of hat feathers and a Hunkydory sentiment to finish off. Hope you like her !</div>

I used Hobby House products for the first one..I just dusted around the edge of the topper with Spun Sugar distress ink, added some ribbon and punched out three little flowers...<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the second one I used some of the Santoro Gorjuss products which I bought ages ago and have never even opened !...the scalloped edges of paper are from another sheet of backing paper used on a previous card..waste not, want not !...</div>

This time our sponsor is Lemon Shortbread....<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQjLJt7pERnXkaWeg0yVnWcP3pTx98tzZ3hBmZx3yHDw7JQ4IftxRITv8-8Nl1ihh21uJ8IB_vH_BMkQbsXbZRMeTv0A1li7wZg5ERmkdQim8rk10oN1FAOBh8HOKcRFTfXDRpeyFrEu_2/s1600/Lemon+Shortbread+logo+2+-+SOC+Nov+15.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQjLJt7pERnXkaWeg0yVnWcP3pTx98tzZ3hBmZx3yHDw7JQ4IftxRITv8-8Nl1ihh21uJ8IB_vH_BMkQbsXbZRMeTv0A1li7wZg5ERmkdQim8rk10oN1FAOBh8HOKcRFTfXDRpeyFrEu_2/s1600/Lemon+Shortbread+logo+2+-+SOC+Nov+15.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
and the prize is 3 digis from the store.<br />
<br />
I chose to use the "Owl on Branch" digi image. I coloured it in using promarkers Pastel Pink, Cocoa, Tan, Yellow and Cool Grey 3, and added some Creative Expressions/Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles in Frosty Mink, a lovely colour in my opinion !<br />
<br />
I found some pre punched leaves that I kept in a little pot and used them to add some autumn leaves to the tree, and the backing paper is one I bought from Little Claire, I am afraid the name eludes me, but it was perfect with all the little owls "hooting" in the background ! The card base is just a white 6 x 6 which I've used in a tent like fashion as opposed to the normal style. I also used a sentiment from a Becky Seddon kit I recently bought. Hope you like it.<br />
<br />

<br />
Our sponsor this month is Julia Spiri, and the prize is two images from her store.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbLTcCVXWMCaLiAqF3a4z3g6e5p41Ax_s9Roc5Ibdm8LJvh08bAidJz4KPC7P1CQ0ei3E0c_FPiM3U169aIRHE9QjVIFMhanko6EuPk3huacOERHjiPONDuGq8WxyVGZ73mUMgvluV0PwS/s1600/Julia+Spiri+logo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbLTcCVXWMCaLiAqF3a4z3g6e5p41Ax_s9Roc5Ibdm8LJvh08bAidJz4KPC7P1CQ0ei3E0c_FPiM3U169aIRHE9QjVIFMhanko6EuPk3huacOERHjiPONDuGq8WxyVGZ73mUMgvluV0PwS/s1600/Julia+Spiri+logo.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I used the "Girl on a Mushroom" image, and here is what I made. I chose an autumn theme, and for a change I coloured her in with watercolour pencils, apart from the large leaf, ladybird and cherries, for which I used a sparkly gel pen. I also used Stardust stickles on the mushroom. I edged the image with Frayed Burlap distress ink. The background paper is from a DCWV Posies stack, the autumn leaves, owl and bird embellishments all came from my stash, and I found a "Nature" sticker, which I thought went well with the theme. Hope you like it. (I also entered this into Julia Spiri's challenge as it's the first one of her images I have used, I think they are lovely !http://juliaspirichallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/challenge-03.html )<br />

The theme was simply "Summer". Here's what I came up with using Faye Whittaker decoupage on the first one and then some of the Hunkydory products which I have accumulated over the years on the other two.<br />

Isn't that just typical ! Many local events were ruined yesterday due to the bad weather, I bet the organisers aren't happy today looking out at how lovely it is. Such a shame after all the hard work they put into things.<br />
<br />
Of course the 1st of the month heralds a new challenge for us, and this time our sponsor is The Paper Nest Dolls.<br />

Firstly I dusted the digi with Faded Jeans Distress Ink, then coloured in with promarkers. I used a piece of holiday themed backing paper by Krafty Hands, (I thought the palm trees went well with a hammock !), and edged the digi with a selection of my many buttons, tying a thread of bakers twine in one of them. I have a bit of a thing for buttons, and usually just look at them and put them away again, but I thought it was about time I used a few ! Then just for fun I added googley eyes to Owen and his dog, so they follow you around the room ! I found some epoxy stickers and used the "Enjoy" one in the corner. Hope you like it.<br />
