A few weeks ago there were a couple of speed challenges in the Carley Creata FB group, we were given half an hour for each challenge and told what we could use. It was good fun and got my brain working, and considering I'm not a morning person that's no easy task ! Here are my two cards. I used a Spellbinders die in the first one with a few flowers and leaves cut using a die from Little Claire. In the second one I used Creata mirror card and backing paper, a Martha Stewart punch, Joy butterfly die, grass die and flourish die cut down to produce the leaves for the stems of the flowers.

Creata Challenge # 4
I'm entering this into the current Creata challenge where the theme this time is "Anything but Square". I used Creata Kraft card, backing paper, metallic embellishments, gold rub-ons and stopwatch die. I distressed the kraft card with my trusty nail file, this card has a lovely white core that deserves to be revealed ! Here's the link to the challenge http://creatachallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

Creata Challenge # 3
I made two cards this time, the theme was a colour palette of blues and greens. I used white card blanks, covered with Creata backing paper on both cards. On the first card I used the Creata owl stamp, distress inks, blue card, feathers, shrink plastic to make some small owl embellishments, buttons, gems, twine, flowers punched from Creata backing paper and a leaf flourish cut using a Creata die.
On the second card I used Frantage powders and mica flakes on Bazzill card, Creata birdcage stamp, in faded jeans distress ink on Creata kraft card, velvet ribbon bow, flowers punched from Creata backing paper and mirror card, gem, blue hearts, little birds stamped onto Creata kraft card and kraft card tag. All kraft card distressed with nail file to reveal the white core.
I am entering these into the following challenge - http://creatachallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

Songbird Trees
I bought the Shabby Chic Songbird CD not long ago, designs by Leonie Pujol, in collaboration with Debbi Moore. I don't do much CD crafting but have to say the images and sentiments on Songbird are lovely, and it's very easy to use, and not very expensive either. Here's a card I made using one of the many designs, together with Creata mirror card and butterfly die.

Pampered pets ( a bit like our cats !)
Here's a card I made recently for a friend's birthday using a Pampered Pets topper and backing card, and for a change I cut some ribbon, made some loops and stuck them to the back of the topper.
