Hunkydory little book images
I've got a few of the above books now, they prove very useful, whether for quick cards or for others with a bit more time spent on them. I made a selection of cards for men using the Gentleman's Journey book, just sticking them onto A6 kraft card blanks, trimming to size and stamping a Happy Birthday greeting inside. Here's a picture of the first batch...
Cards for the men
With Father's Day looming mid month, I had a concerted effort to make some male themed cards. It's never easy, but I persevered, using a mixture of Craftwork Cards and Hunkydory stash. Here are a few of them....
Using a pre-cut card and accessories from "Man Made"...the card has been coloured with distress ink...

Sisters of Craft "Anything Goes" June Challenge
1st June already, which is supposed to mean the first day of summer, but the weather in some parts of the UK, including where I live, aren't feeling any warmth or seeing any blue skies or sunshine at the moment...hopefully someday very soon....
It's the start of another challenge and this time our sponsor is Cre8tive Hands.
Unfortunately Michelle from Cre8tive Hands is no longer running her Etsy business, (you can still obtain free images from her blog though), therefore the winner of this month's challenge will win a mystery gift arranged by the DT !
I chose to use the Hot Chocolate digi, and kept things simple by adding the picture to a pre-embossed card. I coloured the hearts and centre frame with my pink Whisper pen, and the image with the pink Whisper pen together with a Cool Grey 1 promarker. Sometimes less is more eh !
