Home from home
I bought these little birdhouses and have painted this one with "Mulch" and "Pumpkin"eco-friendly acrylic paint, then added some candi from Craftwork Cards and drew in some stems with a promarker. The little bird embellishment has been painted with the pumpkin paint and finished off with a promarker. I also added some gems across the front.
Sleeping kitty
Here's a card I made using a Little Claire stamp on a pre-embossed card. I coloured the image with Whisper pens and added some glamour dust, then a selection of Craftwork Cards candi which I covered in glossy accents.

Graphic 45 easel card
I just made this card for my sister's birthday, I used Graphic 45's "Raining Cats and Dogs" collection, some vintage lace, Tonic Nuvo drops and the little charm is an astrological one for the sign "Aries". I told her she was highly honoured as it's the first time I've cut into this collection !!

Give a big Welcome to "The Huggables" !
Here's what I did with Craftwork Cards "Huggables". I coloured the insides of the chicks' and rabbits' arms with promarkers so that when they folded over they weren't stark white, then I added some matching gingham ribbon and bows, orange and yellow for the chicks, and red and pink for the rabbits. I attached Cadbury's chocolate mini eggs in a little bag tied with twine to the chicks, (with the help of a stripey paperclip), and Bassett's Jelly Bunnies to the rabbits (3 sweets per bag on each). They were fun to make !
Here they are with my Hunkydory bird boxes....
My colouring exploits
It's been a stressful few months as my husband has had health problems. Hopefully he is on the right side of things now, and I have to say that doing some colouring in the evenings did stop me from stressing out too much. They are all from the My Thyme Book No. 1 (I haven't started on the other books yet !), and I used a combination of Sakura jelly roll pens, (sparkle, metallic and glaze), plus watercolour pencils too. The owl is my favourite !
This is my minimalist effort !!....
Hunkydory bird boxes
I had forgotten about these to be honest, and decided to have a go at putting them together. I sell a few of my cards and thought these might be handy for little easter egg gift boxes. They were easy to construct and I still have another set to make, so they were good vfm. I threaded either ribbon or bakers twine through the top and added the little tags provided.
In four different colours, pink, purple, brown and green, I used red liner tape to secure the edges and Cosmic Shimmer glue to add the little extras. Here they all are together.....
Warren the rabbit
I don't often make Easter cards but after getting Craftwork Cards "Warren and Lola" pads I used two of the designs to make a couple of cards. I distressed around the edge with Squeezed Lemonade ink, then used some of my little tapestry flower and leaf stamps, also using distress ink, Faded Jeans and Forest Moss. I used my corner punch to round off the edges of the topper just to give it a softer look. I added some glamour dust just for a subtle bit of glitter and then I used a rabbit punch on the insert, with a strip of gold mirri card behind where I had punched the rabbits, and I put three little dots of ink between each one to try and give a bit of momentum to them !
I did also make a couple of other Easter cards, one using Creata 3D stickers and a Craftwork Cards sentiment, which I coloured with a promarker to blend in. I am so glad I bought the Book of Sentiments from them as it has come in very handy ! The other card is made using a Hunkydory design, again with a Craftwork Cards banner.

Sisters of Craft "Anything Goes" April Challenge
Hi all, it's the start of a new month and this time we are being sponsored by Moonflower... the prize is $10 worth of digital stamps.
I chose to use the "Gypsy Flower" image...
Instead of colouring everything, I decided to use some adhesive fabric to create a "proper" dress for her, and cut small patterns so I could get the sizes correct to fit the image. I then added some vintage lace trim, with some resin and paper roses in her hair. I used promarkers to colour the remaining areas, and the backing paper is from a First Edition Pad. The word stamps are from Craftwork Cards. I was quite pleased with the outcome (even though I say so myself !) and hope you like her as well.
Come and join in the fun ! www.sistersofcraft.blogspot.com.
