I entered a competition recently to make a card that included something using the paper folding technique of Origami. Years ago when I was a youngster someone bought me some paper and an instruction book, but I didn't get very far with it. I've never bothered with it since, but thought I'd have a go this time, and, after finding a Youtube video I managed to fold a cat, and made this card using my third attempt. I made it into a little "homage" to one of my favourite songs "Love Cats" by The Cure.

Challenge winner
I made this to welcome Carley Duff back to our TV screens in November 2014 (albeit briefly), and I won a prize !
I used Creata backing paper, half a doiley, a Joy stamp, coloured in with Whisper pens and wound a couple of roses from Wild Orchid Crafts around a handwritten circular sentiment.

Family birthdays
Here are a couple of cards made for two of my husband's grand-daughters.
The first one was made using holographic card, backing paper from one of the Tattered Lace magazines and a Spellbinder die. The little cat is a watermark designed for me by Gill McCall, I keep forgetting to use it ! (Sorry Gill !)
The second one was made using one of the many Hunkydory kits I have in my stash.

January chills
We've had two or three light snow showers here in North Norfolk, so have got off lightly compared to some. It's very cold, but that's only to be expected really isn't it ? ! I thought I'd just upload a few Christmas cards I made, I don't like making Christmas ones, but forced myself last month, so before moving on into the year, here are some of my efforts. I won't bore you with them all !
The first two were made using stamps from Little Claire, Tattered Lace dies, Creata mirror card and a few others bits and bobs. The kraft cards were bought from a Lynda Chapman show on Create and Craft.
The next three cards were made from card kits that have been on my shelf for ages, cheating a bit I suppose, but best to use them up and save some pennies !
