Gale force winds
After a lot of rain last night we awoke to a bright, mild sunny day, with a nice drying wind, so I thought I'd put some washing out, which I've not been able to do for a while. Well, not long after the wind really picked up, I checked once to make sure everything was still on the line, which it was, but soon afterwards my husband called upstairs to tell me the line post had broken and all the washing was on the very soggy lawn !! He put a new post in, and the washing wasn't too badly damaged, but isn't that just typical !
Anyway, above is a card I made recently for a challenge, using a DigiStamp Dreams image coloured in with Promarkers. Hope you like it :o)

Two more challenge entry cards
Here are a couple more cards I entered into challenges on the Trimcraft forum.. I've found these challenges very helpful in giving me an incentive to use my crafty stash and keep my mojo going, and am making an effort to take part in more challenges. These cards are using papers from Making Cards Vintage Special (peach and orange easel card) and Hunkydory First Bloom papers (floral card).
Happy New Year !
Well, I thought we might get away with no snow this year but no such luck, it started to fall mid January and as one lot was clearing we got another lot, overall about 10 inches I reckon. Lovely to look at, but very messy and icy after a while. We bought a big bag of salt just incase and it came in handy ! I was in and out feeding the birds who were struggling to find food, and the cats kept running out and having a play in it ! It's all gone now after a lot of rain the other night, lots of water everywhere now in the fields, the ground is so wet there's nowhere for it to go. It's raining again now, very fine drizzle and mist. Still at least the nights are drawing out and we are on the right side of things, roll on spring !
