Look at the card I won !

Here's a picture of the card I was lucky enough to win when Visible Image appeared on Create and Craft for the first time recently...it's FAB, and is on show in my craft room now !  I have just bought a couple of their stamps, they only arrived yesterday so I haven't tried them out yet.  Also, there is some blog candy on offer on Cheremane's blog, here's the link http://cheremane.blogspot.co.uk/

Creata Sketch Challenge

I made this for one of my husband's grand-daughters who is 15 today.  I used Creata backing paper, mirror card and a Joy flourish die, (and I think the mirror card was from Trend Pack 1).  I inked the image with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar distress ink just to make it blend in a little more with the pink background.  I coloured in a peel off sentiment and added to the smaller die cut shape.  I am entering this into the Creata challenge, and here is the link http://creatachallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

First Christmas card made for 2013

This is the first Christmas card I made this year (closely followed by the embossed snowman one).  I'm not very good at making Christmas cards, but am trying to get organised.  This was made using the Stylish kit from the Hunkydory Blockbuster collection, with some holographic card and snowfall acetate added as a wrap.

Embossed candle

Made using Creata mirror card and one of their embossing stencils...although meant to be used for Christmas I thought I'd use it for a birthday, I suppose it could be a Christmas birthday as well.  The background paper was from a Studio Calico paper pad, and I added the lines of colour using bingo dabbers !  The flowers are from Prima, and the sentiment strip is from Kanban.

Bird aperture card

Made this using the Kanban blockbuster kit, and added ribbon, sentiments, gems and a bee and two butterflies.

Blue flowers easel card

Here's a slightly different take on a Little Claire club kit, where I stamped around the edge of the backing card using Memento London Fog ink.

Using only the kit

Here's a couple of cards I made for a Hunkydory competition where you were only allowed to use the items that came within the kit, with the exception of card blanks, ruler, scissors, tape, glue.  There were two kits to choose from, so I made one from both, but found out you could only enter one card so I chose the fancy folded one.  I didn't win, but enjoyed just having a think and using nothing but the kit items, don't think I've ever done that before.
